Paris Whitney Hilton is the eldest child of real estate developer Richard Hilton and socialite Kathy Richards Hilton. Along with sister Nicky and brothers Barron and Conrad, Hilton is one of multiple heirs to the Hilton hotel fortune.Given the childhood nickname "Star" by her mother and grandmother, Hilton, who began modeling as a child at charitable functions, was born into acting stock. Her maternal grandmother was actress "Big" Kathy Dugan, and aunts Kim and Kyle Richards continue to earn film and television roles. Hilton is also related to Zsa Zsa Gabor (who wed her great grandfather Conrad Hilton), and can claim ties to Elizabeth Taylor, who was briefly married to Hilton's great uncle Conrad Nicholson Hilton Jr.
Hilton spent her childhood moving from one luxury home to another. While living in the family's Beverly Hills mansion, she attended her freshman year of high school at the Marywood-Palm Valley School in California. When the Hilton family relocated to New York City in 1996, she continued her studies at the Dwight School. At this time, the family took up residence in a suite at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, and frequently vacationed at a multi-million dollar home in the Hamptons.
As East Coast transplants, Hilton and her sister regularly attended society functions, charitable events, fashion shows and A-list parties. The two soon became regulars on the red carpet, and a titillating 2000 Vanity Fair spread shot by famed photographer David LaChapelle cemented their burgeoning fame.
Around this time, Hilton signed with Donald Trump's modeling agency, T Management. She was soon seen in a flurry of campaigns for leading clothing designers such as Christian Dior and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as national publications. Hilton has since worked with other top agencies, including Ford Models Management and London's Model 1 Agency.
Hilton, who courted regular media attention for her outrageous lifestyle, was christened "New York's leading IT girl" in 2001. Short-lived romances with actor Leonardo DiCaprio and boxer Oscar de la Hoya—as well as callous comments directed at her peers—earned Hilton bad press, and further fortified her reputation for careless jet setting and hard-partying.
Hilton soon tried her hand at acting, making a cameo in Zoolander, Ben Stiller's feature-length spoof of the modeling world. Over the next few years, she continued split her time between runways and movie sets, appearing in the 2002 horror flicm Nine Lives. The following year, she acted in the feature films Wonderland and Cat in the Hat, and began work on her own small-screen reality series.

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton have been offered $500,000 each by Hollywood Boxing Federation promoter to take part in a boxing match.

Federation promoter, Damon Feldman, has singled out Hilton and Lohan as his next two celeb boxing contenders.

Feldman has said he will donate the proceeds to anti-drug and alcohol campaigns and would give them the huge fees for them to give to charity if the reformed party girls - who both have convictions for driving under the influence - agree to step into the ring.

"We're calling it the battle of the bad girls of Hollywood," pakimodeles.blogspot.com quoted Feldman as saying.

“They would use big pillow-sized boxing gloves. This would be nothing more than a fun match-up, and Paris and Lindsay have both dabbled with boxing training in the past.

"Michael could even help train Lindsay as he is undefeated in Celebrity Boxing!" Feldman added.

Feldman believes the light-hearted match would be the perfect way to strengthen their friendship further for the sake of a good cause.

He told: "This is a perfect way for the two ladies to give back.”

It has emerged that Paris Hilton recently had a pregnancy scare after she gained a few pounds besides suffering from fatigue and excessive appetite. Her reality show `The World According To Paris', which aired on U. S. television, showed a few scenes of the phase when she was fearing that she was pregnant.
Her then-boyfriend Cy Waits was spotted rushing out to buy a pregnancy test for her. One of the scenes also showed the couple snuggling up in bed as they awaited the results.
In another scene, Hilton, 30, was seen breathing a sigh of relief as she read the words `not pregnant', while Waits confessed he was a little disappointed.
"In a way I wanted to have a baby with you. But I think you're right. We're not ready yet," the Daily Mail quoted Waits as saying in the scene.
Hilton started fearing that something could be wrong after she struggled to squeeze into a leather catsuit to launch her motorcycle team in Spain.

The heiress entered the prison on Sunday night after attenting the MTV Movie Awards. Meanwhile, TMZ website is collecting vital information about how Paris spends her 23-day jail sentence. It described the celebutant as “scared” “crying” and “freezing”:

Paris Hilton has said that she was disappointed after being barred from entering Japan following her cocaine confession in the US. The hotel heiress has returned to the US after Japanese immigration officials stopped her from entering the country following her drug conviction. According her spokeswoman Dawn Miller, the 29-year-old was turned away when she arrived at Narita International Airport in Tokyo.

It comes a day after the socialite admitted possessing cocaine and obstructing a police officer during her arrest in Las Vegas last month.

The multimillionaire socialite received a one-year suspended sentence after her guilty plea in a Nevada court.

Hilton had been due to appear at a news conference in Tokyo to promote her fashion line but has flown back to the US after it was canceled.....

The trip was arranged before her arrest last month when police found cocaine in her purse.

Hilton was scheduled to continue the promotional tour with visits to countries including Indonesia and Malaysia, but these trips have also now been axed.

"About to take off. Going home now. So disappointed to miss my fans in Asia,” Sky News quoted her as saying on her Twitter page.

"I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo,” she added.

Miller said in a statement: "Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn't want to let down her brands and many Asian fans.”

"She intended on fulfilling her contract and is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control. She is very disappointed by tonight's events,” he added.
