Angelina Jolie (born Angelina Jolie Voight on June 4, 1975) is an American actress and a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency.
She is considered to be one of the most beautiful women worldwide and probably the most talked about. In her career she has won three Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and an Oscar for best supporting actress in Girl, Interrupted.
However Angelina is also well known for her tattoos. She has got so many tattoos on her body that Hollywood make-up-artists have a hard time covering them.
She cannot help it. She has got a tattoo in almost every place available on her skin becoming herself a Body-art sample.
The Tiger Tattoo on her lower back, made by a Buddhist monk with an old and painful tattoo-technique, is particularly impressive.
According to Wikipedia she has already got 13 tattoos. Among them the Arabic language phrase “strength of will”, the Latin proverb “quod me nutrit me destruit” (what nourishes me destroys me) and of course the geographical coordinates indicating the birthplaces of her children.
For those who think that tattoos are forever, this is not Angelina Jolie’s case – she has got several tattoos removed thanks to laser techniques. Among them, the name of her former husband Billy Bob Torton.
